I get home from work, and find Ginger's car parked in front of our house, and Nathan's car in the driveway. Nice. I park next to my husband and grab my purse from the passenger seat.

I smile. She made a lot of progress on her French.

I leave for the kitchen. The thing with my roast, is that it's easy to make, but takes some time to cook. We are talking all day! So, I use my instant pot. It's a life saver.

I used to prepare it in a pressure cooker, but the instant pot is automatic and makes no noise.

I quickly prepare the potatoes, the carrot and the onions. I put my favorite spices on the meat and sear it in a pan. It's a chuck roast I bought yesterday. I knew Ginger was supposed to come and I wanted to make her happy.

You'll say that you can sear it in the instant pot, but even if it's a life saver, it's just a glorified pressure cooker with an crock pot setting. It's not for everything...

Once the meat is seared, I chuck everything in the instant pot, with beef broth and start the cooker. And that's it! All I need is to do a natural release for 10 minutes when it's done in 70 minutes plus the time to get to the right pressure.

We are on track.

I know they moved to the bedroom while I was preparing the food, so I go in the bathroom and see they left me the hot water. Nice.

I grab my Oasis kindle, which is 100% waterproof, and undress to get in the water. This is the perfect evening.

I light two candles before I get in, and turn off the lights.

A hot bathtub, with a good book, while my husband is having sex with his girlfriend and a roast is cooking. What more can I girl ask for?

Right now, I am reading the Martian. I know, you'll say it's rare for girls to read science-fiction, but why not? I mean, it's a nice book and I liked the movie.

Fine, it's Nathan's favorite book and as his wife, I thought I should read it.

After a few pages, the instant pot beeps. The 70 minutes starts now. It's 5:50, so the roast will be ready at 7:10. Still, it can wait for them if they are still having sex.

I read a few more pages, when I hear a knock on the door.

"Come in", I say.

It's Ginger. Nude.

"Did you need the toilet?"

"No, I just... Sorry, this is a bad idea"

"Stop it, what is it?"

"Well, I am trying a new knot, and I am a little confused"

"Oh, I will gladly help you", I say, as I lift the kindle toward her. She hesitates and grabs it.

"Nope, in French", I say

"Quoi?", what.

"Mais je ne suis pas assez bonne", but I am not good enough

She smiles.

We get to the bedroom, where I see my poor husband all tied up, with a gag in his mouth. Unlike me, Ginger doesn't do rope gags, she prefers to use the ball gag that is usually used for then Nathan wants to silence me.

I smile. I think this is the first time this gag went anywhere but my mouth.

He is nude, and rather tied up. I wonder what else Ginger wants to do.
