Becky Chapter #1 : Meeting Becky

Spotting Becky for the first time

Your first week in college is doing well so far.

Brody your roommate is nice and willing to help you meet people, most of the people in your section remain clustered in their room, perhaps not Teagan and Melody, but despite being annoying, they actually prepare food for you and the other people of the section.

Almost all of your classes are in the nearby McKinsey building, which isn't that far to be honest, and you eat most of your meals in the even closer Union hall.

Sure, soccer is on the other end of the campus, but it's only once per week.

Your main issue is with the school library. It's on the opposite end of the campus!

Ok, it could be worse. The campus is taller, in the North-South axis than wide, in the East-West axis.

Faulkner, your residence hall, is in the North-East corner, but not quite there... When you exit from the back, you are perhaps 1/3 of the way from the side, since Faulkner isn't directly on the Eastern edge of the campus.

The library, however, is directly on the western edge, a little more to the south than your building it. You need to first head toward Union hall, pass by the chemical Engineering building, which is wide and the last class building you cross.

You know there are more to the south, but don't know which ones.

West of the Science building are the smaller dorm buildings. They cost more, you know that, and they don't actually provide more services or square footage, except in the common areas.

With fewer people per section, and usually larger living rooms, they tend to be favored, but in your section, no one really uses the living room anyway!

Perhaps those who want a common area simply go to these 7 dorm buildings?

You only spotted 6 to be honest, the last one seems to be behind a huge tall hedgerow, but it's far enough out of your way that you didn't investigate it yet. Perhaps one day?

It's on the other side of those dorms that the Library building sits.

You should be grateful. The library used to be in the McKinsey building but was moved to this bigger facility. Now, instead of only having serious books, it functions like a full library with novels, comic books and even study rooms.

The building itself is weird.

First, it is the library building, right? But the library isn't the building. It's in the building.

When you enter the front door, you are not directly in the library, you are in an access corridor which lets you move floors and get to the various library rooms and even the various libraries.

There is even a little coffee shop near the entrance with overprices pastries and cookies.

It is a nice library, there is no way around it: the main issue is its location.

Well, there is also the multiple library thing: you cannot just take a pile of books from anywhere in the building and review them in a group room.

If you need books from two libraries, you need to check those from one of them and then, go to work in the other one. Worse, some reference books cannot be checked out and thus, it complicated research if you need reference books from two different libraries.

Fortunately, it's not a problem you face. You don't need to use the medical library, and the historical society library is reserved to students who really need it.

Generally, you simply use the main one, which is on two floors, with two entrances, but with an internal staircase between them, with fictional work on the 1st floor and non-fiction on the second.

There are other specialized libraries on the 3rd floor, such as the Doctoral thesis library and the College archives, but they contain more obscure works. That last one is interesting mainly because it contains old classroom textbooks published by the college professors, and even old exams.

It is reference only, but you've browsed it and found old Trigonometry exams you've photographed with your phone to help you study for your remedial class and impress Eric, your tutor.

So, location.... your solution is simply to go when you need it and group your trips. You need a reference book for your English literature class, one for your women's studies discussion and one for biology.

Well, you don't need them. You want them to understand better. In theory, your Women's studies discussion group requires no reading, but it's not like you are an expert in the field!

You race upstairs as soon as you get in. Most people enter the fiction section and then go upstairs inside the main library, but you prefer you use the stairs of the building because, well, they are nicer and less used.

The one in the library is small and is an afterthought, but the original one is carved in the building structure.

There is a spiral staircase near the lending section, but it's staff only. You would prefer this one... it looks remarkable, but you can't.

as you approach the front door of the non-fiction, you notice an African American girl, sitting by the wall, playing on her phone.

"What are you looking at, loser?", she says, in your direction.

You look behind you.

"Yeah, you, are you a fucking asshole? Because I am talking to you. The pale tall freak that's checking me out"

"What?"

"Oh, are you stupid too? I Axed you a question, loser?"

You look at her. She has very cute frizzy hair, and a pleasant looking face. But mainly, she seems very confident which is a major turn on for you, a guy in chastity.

in the face of your hesitation, she talks to you again.

"English, motherfucker, do you speak it?"

"Pulp fiction?", you ask back, catching the reference.

"Oh, so you do speak. Are you able to make sentences or just random words?"

"It's not random words, it's the movie your quoted"

"Do I look stupid? No, it's you who does. I know Pulp Fiction. I've seen both every live major Samuel L. Jackson movie and every Quentin Tarantino movie. "

"Live major?"

"You are back to one-word sentences. Yeah, live. I haven't watched Adventures in Zambezia or Quantum Quest, the dumb space odyssey. I also haven't watched a few of his early movies, like The Exterminator, but he's just an extra in it"

"Are you a movie buff?"

"What's it to you, asshole? So what if I am? Are you going to lick my pussy to get movie recommendations?"

"What?"

"Motherfucker. Are always going to return to single word sentences when I talk to you. Are you retarded or something? I am not calling you named, I need to know. If you are, I'll leave you the fuck alone."

"No, not retarded, just maybe a little intimidated. I don't know you and you insult me like that"

"Well, what are you doing to do about it?"

"What do you mean?"

"Four fucking words. You are fucking pussy, Doris"

"Doris?"

"Oh my God, you are retarded. Sorry, move along"

"No, it's just... you are taking me by surprise"

"You know, there are usually three kinds of guys who come in this corridor while I chair. Those who ignore me, those who want to fuck me, and those you want to hit me. You strike me as a new breed. What's your deal, Doris?"

"I am actually called Allan"

"Did I ask for your fucking name? You are Doris to me. When you learn to speak, you'll get another name. I am thinking, "Bone", you know because you are a bonehead, and it's a single syllable"

"Do you talk to every person who comes here?"

"No, only to guys, and only to losers"

"And what makes you think I am a loser?"

She laughs, hard.

"Is it that obvious?", you ask again

She stops for a moment, looks at you, and laughs even harder

"What do you mean?", you ask.

,"Is that obvious. Dude, you KNOW you are a loser. It's incredible. I want to just sit here for hours and insult you. Will you be my verbal punching bag?", she asks, laughing.

But your dick tries to get hard, and it hits the cage, causing you pain.

"Fuck", she says, all serious. "You would enjoy that? Shit. I am sorry."

"For that?"

"I didn't realize you were that much of a loser. Listen, if you want to continue this, I'll be here tomorrow, same hour. I'll take you talking to me as consent."

"Oh"

She laughs.

"I am starting to catch on. You don't have enough blood for your dick, and you head, and I make you hard enough that you can't think anymore. I like that, Doris"

She stands up, you take a step back.

"Holy shit, are you scared of me? I am 5 foot 2 asshole. I'm not going to hit you. I might wack you behind the head to put you back in your place, but that's nothing. I'm leaving to wank, Doris. You made me hot. I hope you come to get insulted tomorrow.".

She takes a pause, and puts her hand in front of her mouth, as if talking in a mic: "This is Becky, singing out!", and she mimes a mic drop.

Promptly, she runs by you, smiling one last time, and jumps two steps at a time while climbing down the stairs.

You are left, stunned, and then, after a minute to catch your breath, you go shop for you books, but can't stop thinking about her.

What is your choice?
